Heidi's Restaurant

A Little About Us... Heidi, her late husband, Gottfried and their daughter Marlies opened Heidi's in January of 1999. Heidi is originally from Cranbrook and Gottfried was born and raised in Argentina. Both have German mothers, Austrian fathers and as a result both ended up studying at the renowned International Institute for Tourism & Management in Semmering, Austria. After many years of living and working in various parts of the world, including most recently Kuching, Malaysia, they settled happily back in Cranbrook.

Chef Chris has been at Heidi's since it opened and worked side by side with Gottfried the entire time. He and his kitchen team are proud to continue on with Gottfried's vision.

Our cuisine is a reflection of our heritage, education and experience. We hope you will enjoy our good food, service and 'gemutlichkeit' (cozy atmosphere).
